A recent update (June 2022) to Bing's street's basemap included a fix that updated tiles across China and Hong Kong SAR.
Bing has released not made any announcements regarding the update, but inspection of the new tiles reveals China and Hong Kong are displaced south-east by as much as 500m. We suspect this may be due to a datum update by the Chinese government.
Pictured below is the new Bing tiles for Hong Kong, overlaid with OpenStreetMap tiles at the same location, showing the shift towards the south east in the new tiles.
If you are mapping in Hong Kong SAR or China, your map features are likely to appear misaligned when using the Bing streets basemap. No other basemap provider is affected by this issue at this time.
