Allow users to zoom to their location
Clicking the geolocation button on your device will zoom the map to your current location, and show a circle indicating the accuracy. Geolocation sends a regular ping to the device and will 'follow' the location when moving.
Enabling Geolocation on a map
1. Open the Toolbox by clicking on the toolbox icon on the left of the map editor. Open the Information & Display tab.
2. Click on Geolocation.
3. Switch the toggle to ON
Now your map users will be able to track their current location by pressing the geolocation ‘pin’ icon on the map tools panel on the right hand side of the map.
Note: Geolocation requires browser permission to work.
The first time the geolocation tool is activated, the browser will display a prompt to allow access to your location. Press Allow, and your preferences will be saved in your browser for future use.
