Datasets can be used any number of times in any visualization style, on any number of maps.
Layers are the visualizations of your datasets. Datasets can be used any number of times in any visualization style, on any number of maps.
Each time you create a layer and apply a style, Mango creates a tileset of that visualization.
Your plan storage quota only counts the actual dataset size, not the storage or generation of the tilesets generated from the visualization of your datasets.
Adding Layers
To add a new layer to your map, open the LAYERS panel from your administration sidebar.
Click the Add Layer button to open your dataset library.
From here you can choose a dataset already in your account, or upload a new dataset by clicking Upload Map Data button.
Choose your desired file type and select your files from your PC. While the files are upload, you can rename your dataset to a user-friendly name, and add a description, if desired.
When the layer is added, the layer styling panel will automatically appear.
