Only the account holder can invite and manage users and groups.
Inviting Users to Your Account

Access the Users & Groups Panel
Navigate to Users & Groups in your administration sidebar. -
Invite a New User
Click INVITE YOUR TEAM or NEW USER to add your first user. -
Fill in User Details
- Provide the user’s first name, last name, and email address for login.
- Choose a user role:
- Administrator
- Data Editor
- Private Viewer (free and unlimited)
Administrators and Data Editors are premium add-ons. Ensure your subscription includes sufficient quotas for these roles. Learn more about user quotas here.

Assign Group Membership
- Groups define the maps and datasets the user can access.
- Add users to Groups later by editing their profile or the Group member list.
- Note: Add-on users must belong to a Group to access any maps or datasets. Learn how to create Groups.

Set the Invitation Method
Choose how the invitation email is sent:- To you (the administrator): You’ll receive an email with the activation link to forward to the user.
- Directly to the user: Check "Send invitation email to this person."
Important Notes:
- White Label Users: Leave the checkbox un-checked to ensure invitations preserve white-label branding.
- Custom Domain Users: Activation links will use your custom domain. Disabling the domain breaks these links.

Send the Invitation
Click ADD MEMBER. The invitee will receive an email to activate their account.
User Sign-In
Users can log in via your branded account page:
URL: https://mangomap.com/{your account name}/sign-in

For custom domain users, replace
mangomap.com
with your custom domain.
Troubleshooting Access Issues

Forgotten Passwords: Users can reset their password at:
https://mangomap.com/passwords/new
Note: White Label users will not see this link, as it is hosted on mangomap.com.
Revoking User Access
To remove or modify a user’s access:
- Restrict map/data access: Remove the user from relevant Groups.
- Downgrade role: Change their role to Private Viewer.
- Delete the user: Fully remove their profile to free up premium user quotas.
Deleting a premium user immediately makes their quota available for a new user.
